I’ve been a NASCAR fan since the movie “Days of Thunder” in 1990 🙂 Back then the only way I could listen was on the radio. Luckily, a US military radio station in Germany used to broadcast the races. If I pointed my little shortwave radio antenna in that direction I could pick it up, if I went slightly to the left or right all I got was Italian football (soccer to my US friends!). In 2010 we got satellite TV so I was able to watch 🙂 I’d kept up online from about 2001. I was a Jeff Gordon fan then started following Chase Elliott as he came up through the series.
In 2017 I started a Twitter fan account in support of the then 24 crew chief, now 9 crew chief, Alan Gustafson.
I also started a Facebook group.
You can find me live Tweeting during each and every practice, qualifying session and race day. I post updates on the FB group too. We have a very comprehensive stats section and thousands of photographs.
